Managed to get some cycling in this weekend, so I get to spend Sunday morning lamenting the lack of exercise I've done in the past few months and get RSA complete! I'm going to take another week off some time in July as I take a vacation of some sort, but we'll burn that bridge when we get to it. A happy Mother's day to those that celebrate at this time of year. I always make sure to call my Mom if I can't visit. I mean, she's on the membership Friends of RSA! Took a week off last week to get some stuff sorted out. Should called it a vacation weekend, but the fact is when your folks are gone for half the year that when they come back we make a point of visiting. I tried to sit down and finish the show last week, but I was burnt out. *I* sounded like hell, so I scrapped it and took a week off. Its better to recharge the batteries a bit than put out something substandard. I tried to let everyone know, but with the enshittification of social media, its hard to get the word out. I await the day people stop using Facebook as their primary way of communicating to the world! Welcome back to another exciting week of electronic music! Its the Easter weekend in Canada, and I have a 4 day weekend, so obviously on day 3 I'm finishing off the show. This week I'm actually getting the show done early so that I can get out on my bicycle today! Lets see how far I get today without collapsing, gasping for air. I can feel that I haven't done any significant excercise since the late fall. But I'm cycling out to have a late lunch, so Sushi is my motivator! We're now officially into spring, and its safe for me to leave the house without freezing. Its thoroughly "Great Britain" outside this weekend, only with the extra Canadian advantage of getting freezing rain overnight to make today a skating rink. Apparently. I did all of my errands yesterday so I wouldn't have to go out in this weather! All of teh US and Canadian packages for the membership drive have been delivered, and it looks like Overseas will be arriving next week! But this week we've got a great show for everyone as I clear out a tiny bit of stuff carried over from 2024 and a lot of brand new stuff including a release from a Remixer that I really like! All of the membership drive prizes are officially in the post and making their way to you. Apparently there was a delay at the Niagara Falls bridge taking stuff over to the USA. But USA packages should arrive in the next couple of days, and overseas will probably be another week or so. I basically spent all last weekend getting everything packaged up so there would be less of a delay than usual. After 20+ years of this I might finally be getting organized.
