Welcome to another artificial milestone, as this show marks 250 months of RSA. It seems like hitting 20 years has brought us a lot of milestones, like 1000 shows, etc. 2019 is going to bring me other milestones, as it looks like I'll be doing more live sets than ever. Not only with out friends in Washington, but also in Yorkshire. But I've said too much. I look forward to meeting more and more of you in the coming year!

Today was one of those days where I was super motivated to be working on RSA and my own computing hobbies in general. One of the problems with being an IT drone is that after spending 8+ hours in front of a computer for work, the idea of spending more time in front of another can sometimes be... meh. But today I had some great new stuff to mix, and everything just came together.

Summer just doesn't want to leave Canada yet, so I wound up spending most of the weekend locked in the studio working on RSA and a few other upcoming DJ projects. 2019 is going to be a very busy year (comparatively) for me. I may even be getting the bug to do more live events.

Man, what a difference a week makes! Last weekend while I was finishing this show I had to strategically turn the AC off to record bits, and then turn it back on for a respite from the heat and humidity. Today I'm considering putting on a sweater and packing the AC away! My favorite time of the year with (admittedly) my favorite genre of music! Yep, this week we go bouncy with a Synthpop show. So much good new music this week!

A happy labour day to us all! I'm personally spending this holiday cowering indoors where there is air conditioning. Luckily it looks like this may be the last scorcher of a weekend we get so I can get back to being outside and wandering around listening to RSA. I've got to start thinking about a first draft list for the best of 2018! I should also note that 2019 may be a record year for live performances from me.
